When you register for TXT Signal, we ask for information such as your name, email address, billing address, and credit card information. Members who sign up for the free account are not required to enter a credit card.

TXT Signal uses collected information for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, and research.

TXT Signal does not sell (or re-sell) any mobile contact information contained within any client account. As noted in our Client Data Storage policy (below), the data is the clients and can be exported at any time.

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive.

Cookies are required to use the TXT Signal service.

We use cookies to record current session information, but do not use permanent cookies. You are required to log-in to your TXT Signal account after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents.

Client Data Storage

Although TXT Signal owns the data storage, databases and all rights to the TXT Signal application, you retain all rights to your data. An export of your data is available, at no cost. Requests for assistance with data exports can be sent to support@txtsignal.com. Data exports are provided in a .csv or .xml file format.

No Marketing Guarantee: We provide a 100% guarantee that we will never append an advertisement to any outgoing messages. We provide a 100% guarantee that your contact information will never be sold.

Who we may share your data with

Unless you give us your permission, we will not share your Customer Content, Customer Account Data, or Customer Usage Data with third parties, except as described below:

Parent Company, Third­ party service providers or consultants.
We may share data collected from you on the txtsignal site with our parent company (Seventh Compass, Inc), third­-party service providers or consultants who need access to the data to perform their work only on txtsignal’s behalf, such as a website analytics company or our third party advertising partners. These third party service providers are limited to only accessing or using this data to provide services to us and must provide reasonable assurances that they will appropriately safeguard the data.

Affiliates.
We may share data collected from you from the txtsignal site or application with our affiliates. We all will only use the data as described in this notice.

Aggregated or de­identified data.
We might also share data collected from you from the txtsignal site with a third party if that data has been de-­identified or aggregated in a way that does not directly identify you.

Disclosure

TXT Signal may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.

Changes

TXT Signal may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
